Contracts Manager

Mass Virtual is looking for a unique individual with cross expertise in government contracts management and accounting who will be responsible for managing the organization’s contracts as well as providing support for accounting, human resources and other miscellaneous tasks associated with a small, rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will have strong Government Defense Contracts and Bookkeeping experience and will be highly detail oriented and able to work independently with little direction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the company’s defense and commercial contracts and assures compliance with contract requirements, FARs, DEFARs and other contract regulations.

Project Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented project assistant to provide support to our Executive Programs Director in developing and maintaining spreadsheets, project and production schedules, project risk mitigation, as well as maintaining Mass Virtual’s overall production roadmap and corporate-wide strategic priorities.

Technical 3D Artist 

Join our exceptional development team as a Technical 3D Artist. This role focuses on optimizations and working with shaders, materials, and post-processing effects. The employee will work extensively on helping the content team develop asset pipelines, maintain rigs, and optimize assets to meet budget requirements. Applicant must be highly motivated and organized, able to work as part of a large team, while communicating effectively with multiple disciplines. Include a link to your portfolio showing example rigs and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Jack-of-all-trades 3D artist with a broad skill set including: lighting, animation, rigging, environment art and VFX
  • Help improve shader, texture and lighting quality
  • Develop powerful and efficient workflows for the Art team
  • Collaborate with all members of the team to develop a long-term strategy to maintain and evolve the art workflows
  • Support the Animation team by maintaining rigs and the animation pipeline
  • Make recommendations on how to improve asset quality and art process productivity
  • Coordinate with all departments to achieve project goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Portfolio of example rigs and tools
  • 2+ years experience (outside college) as a technical artist in games or related industries
  • Experience in AAA quality development
  • Experience in Unity/Unreal workflows and best practices
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Strong art skills and deep understanding of modeling, shaders, texturing, animation, and lighting for games
  • Strong knowledge of 3DS Max or Maya
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Knowledge of Photoshop
  • Expertise in content development for Unity
  • Experience with VR / AR development
  • Proficiency with using profiling tools such as PIX
  • Experience working with shaders and materials; creation and optimization
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages, ex. Python.
  • Experience with Houdini

  • Work with Art Director and other artists to ensure consistency between vision and implementation of environment and hard surface assets
  • Provide and accept direction
  • Understand and follow style guides to guarantee the consistency of assets
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
  • Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in game development
  • Strong knowledge of 3dsMax or Maya
  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop and Substance Painter using the PBR workflow
  • Strong passion for making the highest quality assets
  • Expert understanding of current game environment development processes, limitations and dependencies
  • Established interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred:

  • Experience with Unity and Unreal Engine
  • Experience developing a VR environment
  • Industrial design background

A portfolio or reel that demonstrates the experience above as well as the following:

  • Strong artistic background
  • Heavy focus on photo-realistic art, high poly modeling and industrial design
  • Clear understanding of the normal map creation process and PBR
  • Clear understanding of efficient UV layout for low poly objects
  • Keen eye for detail and realism
  • Strong texturing skills

Job Type: Full Time/Contract to start; Salaried upon proven results

Job Location: On Site – Orlando, Florida. No relocation allowances are offered for this position.
