Retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major (CSM) James “Jimmy” Wilson has joined the Mass Virtual team, bringing his exceptional 31-year career in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army.

With his extensive knowledge of aviation enterprise operations, Wilson offers valuable insights into the Army's training needs, contributing to the growth and development of Mass Virtual's range of products. In his final role as the Command Sergeant Major of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) at Fort Novosel, Alabama, he served as the Aviation Branch CSM, ensuring the standards and well-being of Army Aviation personnel. Additionally, he acted as the primary advisor to the Commanding General on all matters related to readiness within the U.S. Army's Aviation Branch.

Wilson held several notable positions throughout his military career. He served as the CSM of the 4th Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and the Task Force 1-160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He also held the role of Regiment CSM at the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, also located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In a later phase of his career, he served as the CSM of the United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Notably, Wilson deployed 23 times in support of combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as participating in numerous global contingency operations. His extensive experience in these deployments reflects his dedication to serving in high-stakes and demanding environments.
