B-1B Lancer is Newest Aircraft in the Virtual Hangar™ Platform

In partnership with Air Force Education Training Command’s Integrated Technology Platform (ITP) Office, Air Force Global Strike Command and the 365th Training Squadron at Sheppard AFB, the Mass Virtual Team initiated XR development of the B-1B aircraft at Dyess AFB, TX. We are excited to welcome the B-1B Lancer to the Virtual Hangar™ Platform.

Members of the 7th Maintenance Group, ITP and Mass Virtual team members worked diligently on the training data essential to producing human performance enhancing solutions and deliver the next-generation of XR training to our Airmen.

The B-1B carries the largest conventional payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the Air Force inventory and the multi-mission aircraft is the backbone of America’s long-range bomber force. It can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary, anywhere in the world, at any time.

Special thanks to the Airmen of Team Dyess for their support in making this trip a great success!
