KC-46 Pegasus Joins Virtual Hangar™ Aircraft Inventory

U.S. Air Force KC-46 aircraft is joining the enterprise XR platform, Virtual Hangar™.The Mass Virtual, AMC, and the AETC Integrated Technology Platform (ITP) team kicked off virtual development activities for the KC-46 Pegasus aircraft with the 22nd Maintenance Group at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. The team conducted a virtual scan of the entire aircraft along with working virtual captures for numerous maintenance tasks. The virtual modules will aid the 22nd Maintenance Group to provide training and task proficiency to critical maintenance procedures.KC-46 Pegasus is the United States Air Force’s newest multi-role tanker aircraft with aerial refueling and strategic military transport and cargo capabilities.We appreciate McConnell AFB hosting our team and look forward to future projects to expand the KC-46’s virtual training program.
